WHY FABRIC?
or a brief history of retactables and displays

Prints loaded into retractable banner stands and other types of display fixtures were generally made from three classes of materials:

  • Laminated Paper
  • Banner Vinyl
  • Polyester Film

Laminated Paper was the first and most widely used material but with repeated use, the fibers in the paper would tend to fail, leading to torn and split edges, ruining the graphic.

Banner Vinyl was a good alternative to avoid the problems with paper, but vinyls are soft and prone to stretching, resulting in unattractive cupped edges.

Polyester Films came along and solved both problems. Films don't split or stretch, but they are easily scratched.

That brings us to fabric. Fabric solves all of these problems and brings added benefits as well. Fabric won't split, cup, or get scratched. Exhibiting at a typical national trade show can cost as much as $5,000. Why skimp on your all-important visual aids? Our inFusion prints consistently, perform as designed, are fully washable, and the color achieved in the inFusion process is absolutely amazing.
